Bankruptcy Department

Theresa Byington
Theresa has worked for our firm since 1997.  She handles all MLSs for Ch. 7 and 13 cases, Motion to Values, Motion to Redeems, Objections to Claims and Confirmations, Proof of Claims, etc. for the Firm.  In addition, she assists Mr. LeVine and Mr. Hicks in litigation bankruptcy, Chapter 7 Trustee, and miscellaneous bankruptcy matters. 

Amanda Whitley-Matthews
Amanda is the newest member of our Firm.  She started with us in September of 2008.  She assists Mr. LeVine and Mr. Hicks in litigation bankruptcy, Chapter 7 Trustee, and miscellaneous bankruptcy matters.

Katie Ray
Katie has worked for our firm since July 2001 (when she was only sixteen years old).  She is a native of Tampa and over the years has worked her way up through the firm.  She has been with the litigation team since December 2005.  She was recently appointed the Team Lead of our Litigation Department and is doing a wonderful job of coordinating workflow.  Katie is married to Daniel and they are expecting their first child in October 2009. 

Avni Patel
Avni has worked for our firm since December 2005.  She started as a receptionist and moved up to the Litigation Department in January 2008.  She was born in London, but moved to Florida when she was six years old.  She was married in March 2008.  Avni's speciality is replevins and garnishments.  Additionally, Avni has been our trainer for new staff in many positions.

Erin Slattery
Erin has worked for our firm since March 2008.  She is a native of Connecticut and moved to Florida when she was nine years old.  Erin graduated from the University of Central Florida in May 2008 with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies.  Erin will be continuing to work full time while attending the Stetson University College of Law School starting in August 2009.

Sheri Olson
Sheri has worked for our firm since June 2008.  Sheri is originally from Tampa and has lived here her entire life, except for six years in Iowa.  She began working in the legal profession over 40 years ago and received her Paralegal Degree in 1991 from Bay Area Legal Academy.  Sheri mainly works on new replevin matters.

Melinda Noll
Melinda has worked for our firm since June 2008.  Melinda is a native of Tampa, although she lived in Colorado for a short time.  She just got married in February 2008 and her and her husband are both active in their church and community.  In 2005, she spent two weeks in Belize rebuilding a youth center for under privileged children.  Melinda works on the files of many of our volume clients and is an asset to moving things forward.
