David E. Hicks, a native of Jacksonville, joined the Firm in September, 2000. Mr. Hicks graduated from Jacksonville University in 1979, and The Florida State University College of Law in 1982. He was admitted to practice in Florida in 1982. Mr. Hicks was formerly Chief Litigation Counsel with Feinberg, Isaak & Smith a/k/a The Debt Relief Legal Centers. Mr. Hicks also served for five years as Assistant General Counsel with the State of Florida, Department of Revenue, and as an Assistant Public Defender, primarily in bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Hicks's practice areas include creditors' rights, commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation. David is married to Sue, and has four children.
