As a service to our clients, Dennis LeVine & Associates strives to keep you updated on breaking news and recent developments and cases effecting secured creditors.  We would like to share the following item of interest with you.

Florida's three Districts for Bankruptcy Courts - Northern, Middle and Southern - and the Chapter 13 Trustees who work with them handle cases and issues in widely different ways.  We have prepared and attach a chart which outlines a number of these common issues, and sets out what we believe the way they are treated in the different Districts (and even by different bankruptcy judges within the District).  This list covers common questions such as stay relief by negative notice, adequate protection, valuation standards, and the effect of dismissal orders.  These procedures are subject to change, so please call us if you have questions on specific cases.
